ContactWhispering Farms Equestrian Center is located at: 3310 Prosper Trail Directions: Our Staff The grooms at Whispering Farms Equestrian Center are highly skilled and very knowledgeable and they take great pride in the care they give the horses. They are trained to tend to the animals as if they owned them and they look after the facility as if it were their home. Jeff White: Jeff always knew he wanted to be in the horse business. He competed as a junior rider in both Hunters and Jumpers and after attending Texas Tech he struck out on his own as a professional horseman. Since its inception Jeff has been the leader at Whispering Farms Equestrian Center. The students in the hunter/Jumper program attend 20 to 30 local and “A” rated horse shows in the US competing on a regional and national level. Kelly James: Kelly knew she was going to be a trainer and instructor from a young age. She also showed as a junior rider throughout North America and now makes her base of operations as co-trainer at Whispering Farms. Along with Jeff, she attends all the horse shows as well as teaches at home. Our Philosophy We believe in teaching the basics and building from there. Riding is a journey, not a destination and in that vein we cannot make someone into a great horseperson overnight. Learning to ride properly and safely takes time and effort. There is no “quick fix”. Start with the basics with a great foundation on which everything else will build and move from there. We feel that horsemanship is the greatest skill that someone can possess so we strive to teach our clients everything they need to know, not just to be a great rider, but a great horseman or woman. |
